Why callbacks hide
Callbacks feel like part of the job. One truck rolls back to finish a setup, another returns to chase a complaint, and each one seems small on its own. Added up across a year, they are a slow drip of lost profit that never lands on a single invoice.
Seeing the yearly number changes the conversation. When the cost of doing it twice is on the table, doing it right the first time stops being a slogan and starts being a budget.

How we get to the number
The calculator works out the labor and materials in an average job, then your gross profit and how many jobs you run in a year. Against that, it prices the hours your crews spend on callbacks at your real wage and burden.
The result is a conservative floor. It does not try to value the lost referrals or the reputation hit, so treat it as the smallest version of the cost, not the largest.
Questions, answered
Where do these numbers come from?
From the sliders you set. Load an example to drop in realistic starting points, then replace them with your own figures for an estimate that fits your shop.
What counts as a callback?
Any return visit to finish or fix work that should have been complete the first time. Those hours are labor you already paid for once.
Does this include lost referrals?
No. It counts only the direct labor and time cost of the callbacks themselves, so the real impact on your business is likely larger than the number shown.
Will you email me the results?
Yes. Enter your email and we send the full breakdown, so the cost is in writing the next time the team talks about getting it right the first time.
