Buy Now →The Testo 417 Bluetooth anemometer uses an integrated 100 mm (4 in) vane and NTC sensor to measure air velocity, temperature, and volume flow at ventilation outlets. The 0563 0417 instrument is also available with measuring funnels as Kit 1 or with funnels and a flow straightener as Kit 2.
Outlet Airflow and Temperature Measurement
The vane reads 59.1 to 3,937 fpm (0.3 to 20 m/s) at 1.97 fpm (0.01 m/s) resolution, with accuracy of ±(19.7 fpm + 1.5% of reading) ±1 digit. Temperature covers 32 to 122 °F (0 to 50 °C) at ±0.9 °F (±0.5 °C) ±1 digit. Calculated volume flow covers 0 to 58,857 cfm (0 to 99,999 m³/h) from the entered outlet area; with the funnel it covers 0 to 259 cfm (0 to 440 m³/h), and with the funnel and flow straightener 0.06 to 118 cfm (0.1 to 200 m³/h). Timed and multi-point averaging supports outlet measurements.
measureQuick Wireless Integration
The 417 connects directly to measureQuick over Bluetooth. Airflow and temperature readings flow into the test record with no hand transcription, with measured airflow recorded alongside static pressure and temperature split.
Build and Field Readiness
Three AA batteries provide about 50 hours of operation. The datasheet rates the instrument IP40 and the probe IP20. Kit 1 includes funnels for plate outlets and ventilation grilles; Kit 2 adds the flow straightener for swirl diffusers. The instrument and kits include a carrying bag, calibration protocol, and batteries.
