The Testo 557 is the original Bluetooth four-valve digital manifold with a backlit display and two wired NTC temperature inputs. The 0563 1557 kit includes two clamp probes, an external vacuum probe, batteries, and a case.
Pressure, Temperature, and Vacuum Measurement
The pressure inputs cover -14.7 to 870 psi (-1 to 60 bar) at ±0.5% of full scale ±1 digit. Temperature inputs cover -58 to 302 °F (-50 to 150 °C), with input accuracy of ±0.9 °F (±0.5 °C) ±1 digit at 71.6 °F (22 °C) ambient; the attached probe determines the usable measuring range. The instrument holds 60 refrigerants, updatable through the Testo app. The kit includes the external 0638 1557 Pirani vacuum probe, which measures 0 to 20,000 microns. Its accuracy is ±(10% of reading + 10 microns) from 100 to 1,000 microns.
measureQuick Wireless Integration
The 557 connects directly to measureQuick over Bluetooth. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures flow into the test record with no hand transcription and feed superheat and subcooling calculations.
Note: Testo has discontinued the 557. measureQuick still supports it for technicians who own one; the testo 558s is the current model.
