Visit tool →The testo 557s is a smart digital manifold with a 4-way valve block for commissioning, servicing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, and heat pumps. It ships bundled with the testo 552i wireless vacuum probe for hose-free vacuum measurement; the manifold itself has no integrated vacuum sensor. A large graphic display evaluates results graphically and stored programs guide superheat, subcooling, target superheat, capacity, and evacuation measurements. It measures pressure from -14 to 870 psi at plus or minus 0.5 percent full scale and temperature from -58 to 302 F via two plug-in NTC probes, with a 3 x 7/16 in UNF plus 1 x 5/8 in UNF connection set. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0 to the testo Smart App and to measureQuick for real-time refrigerant-side analysis with automated superheat and subcooling.
Note: This tool has been sunset (discontinued from active support). It still works if you own one and remains compatible with measureQuick, but the testo 558s is the current recommended replacement.
