Testo 410i Vane Anemometer

The Testo 410i is a vane anemometer in the Testo Smart Probes family, built for measuring air velocity, air temperature, and volume flow at supply registers, return grilles, and ventilation outlets. The vane reads air velocity with no air-density correction, and volume flow is calculated from the grille or duct dimensions entered on the phone. The probe has no display of its own and sends readings over Bluetooth to measureQuick or the testo Smart App.

Air Velocity and Temperature Measurement

The vane covers 79 to 5,906 fpm (0.4 to 30 m/s) at 20 fpm (0.1 m/s) resolution, with accuracy of ±(40 fpm + 2% of reading) from 79 to 3,937 fpm (0.4 to 20 m/s). An NTC sensor reads air temperature from -4 to 140 °F (-20 to 60 °C) at ±0.9 °F (±0.5 °C). Timed and multi-point averaging covers the uneven velocity profile across a register face. For in-duct traverses through a small test port, the hot-wire 405i is the better fit, and the 410i handles registers and grilles.

measureQuick Wireless Integration

The 410i connects to measureQuick over Bluetooth alongside the rest of the Testo Smart Probes on the job. Air velocity, air temperature, and calculated volume flow go into the test record with no hand transcription, recorded with the static pressure, temperature split, and refrigerant readings from the same test.

Build and Field Readiness

The 410i measures 6.1 x 1.7 x 0.8 in (154 x 43 x 21 mm) and runs about 130 hours on three AAA batteries. It operates from -4 to 122 °F (-20 to 50 °C), ships with batteries and a calibration protocol, and fits the Testo Smart Case with the 405i, 510i, and 605i.
